2027 Peer Support Retreat
April 18–20, 2027 · Camp St. Christopher · Seabrook Island, South Carolina
A restorative, skill-building gathering for peer support professionals and others strengthening recovery and stabilization systems. The retreat will bring together lived experience, practical education, meaningful connection, and time to recharge in a supportive coastal setting.
Connection, restoration, and practical learning
The program is being designed around peer support values and multiple pathways of recovery. Planned experiences include facilitated learning, community-building, reflection, and optional sunrise and evening activities.

Proposed learning experiences
The working agenda includes education and facilitated activities addressing:
Bias, stigma, and access to systems
Family systems and family rules
Coping skills and practical application
Ethics, self care, boundaries, expectations, and self disclosure
Co occurring mental health and substance use recovery
Motivational interviewing and reflective listening practice
Understanding stress and limbic responses
Cultural humility
Mindful practice and personal wellness
Course titles, descriptions, learning objectives, and trainer biographies will be added as the program is finalized.
Continuing education
Bring Freedom is pursuing continuing education approval for eligible retreat sessions. The final number of approved hours, approving organizations, attendance requirements, and certificate requirements will be posted after approval is received. Registration does not guarantee continuing education credit until those approvals are confirmed.

Sponsor supported registration
Participants register at the listed rate to secure their space. As eligible sponsorship funding is received, Bring Freedom may issue partial or full refunds of the base registration cost in the order registrations were purchased. Sponsor funded refunds are not guaranteed and do not include sales tax or processing fees.
Registration transfers
If a registered participant cannot attend, the registration may be transferred to another participant or the amount paid may be applied to a future Bring Freedom training or event. Additional registration terms will be provided during checkout.
